Stayed recently for 3 nights. Have been to Queenstown a few times, but our first time at the Sofitel. Friendly, helpful and very professional staff - especially Niklas the concierge. Beautifully appointed rooms with all the special little luxuries you would expect from the Sofitel. Can't fault the location either - right in the heart of town. It's our first... More

We recently stayed at the Sofitel in Queenstown and felt compelled to say how wonderful it was! The staff were outstanding in the lengths they went to in making our stay so very special. This is the 2nd time i have stayed at this hotel and it keeps getting better. One of the best hotels in Queenstown for central location and of course 5 star. I love the french feel the hotel has and the beds would have to be the most comfortable i have ever slept in. The spa bath is sensational and... More

I loved staying here, the service was excellent and the room was very nice. The hotel was in a good location, handy to everything and not too noisy. The dining room looked inviting but we didn't get a chance to eat there.

Accor's big advertising push is you know what you get when you book an Accor Hotel. This was not the case. My room confirmation stated among everything else. spa tub, television, etc. I was to receive WiFi. It didn't say I was going to be charged $30.00 if I use more than 30 minutes. I brought this up to the... More

Bonjour. I stayed there in march for 3 nights. Our stay there could be have been better then what it was. Amazing customer service and exemplary environment. The Sofitel Queenstown is a wonderful hotel. For our stay the only demerit points related to a wholly inadequate gym facility, which was compounded with one of the two cardio machines not working properly. Get that right please Sofitel....people need to exercise!

We went with our adult children to Queenstown over Queen's Birthday weekend. The Sofitel is the perfect location as well as a wonderful hotel. Do let the concierge help you book a meal if you have not made arrangements. If you haven't explored the Queenstown Gardens (Google it for some images) be sure to do so and wear comfy shoes.... More
