We stayed here for two nights. Our room was very comfortable, though the shower was very low and not powerful. Breakfasts were yummy and our hosts made us feel welcome. The location was quiet, and just five minutes walk from the centre of the village and some nice restaurants.

The House of Wood B & B is a great accommodation in a convenient location. Hosts Meryl and Cliff are welcoming and fun to chat with. The rooms are clean and well appointed, and the breakfast is very special.

The House of Wood is a beautiful place -- with an excellent location -- close to everything. We loved our room and our hosts. Homemade jellies and breads! Yummy!!! Reasonably priced. Anyone that we know traveling to New Zealand we will definitely send to House of Wood. Enjoy.
