Viv and the cat were great, the room was comfy and had tv, tea and coffee making facilitites with ensuite. Short drive to town for meals and had lovely variety of company at breakfast with other staying guests. Great place to go to Milford Sound and very quiet location.

We spent two nights at Loch Vista and loved it. We had two rooms in a separate wing and made the most of the long days by sitting outside to admire the sunset after dinner. It was lovely. The fruit salad at breakfast is delicious. Mischief, the friendly cat, is part of the atmosphere.

Loch Vista is located up above the road, surrounded by fields (NZ - paddocks), with uninterrupted views over Te Anau Lake. Viv accommodated our every need: we stored luggage while we hiked the Milford Track, and she even let us clean our weary trail clothes in her washer/dryer. Mischief the cat is very friendly.
