We stayed for three nights at Keiko's in March on our five week trip to New Zealand and Eastern Australia. Our accommodation was in the Guest Room which is part of the main house rather than the three separate cottages, but has a separate entrance from the outside and an ensuite bathroom. The room was extremely clean and comfortable and... More

Keiko and Kevin have cottages and a room in the main house as options. We stayed in a cottage that had a comfortable bed, shower, and kitchen area. We chose the continental breakfast that was superb. Kevin books local tours including Doubtful and Milford sound trips as well as the glowworm caves. He is a good negotiator to get you... More

We stayed for two nights in Te Anau (should have made it four) at Keiko's B&B. The self-contained cottage we stayed in was spacious, quiet, had very good facilities, and looked out onto its own most attractive, private little garden. Kevin was very helpful, organising different tours in the area, and advising us on excellent walks/hikes to take. We regret... More

Keiko's Cottages was a delightful accommodation! Her gardens are absolutely breathtaking--gorgeous roses, hydrangeas, and numerous other blossoms are just stunning. We enjoyed Keiko's wonderful breakfasts along with Kevin's tips and ideas for the area. Sitting around their family style breakfast table made for a wonderful start to each day. Our stay at Keiko's and the trip into Milford Sound was... More

This was a very special experience. The rooms are modern and tidy with an efficient kitchen. We cooked some breakfasts and dinners. The hosts were affable and helpful, making excellent recommendations. The property was rich with gardens, with many fragrant flowers in bloom everywhere. red, white and pink climbing roses, hydrangeas, astilbe, wisteria, and many unfamiliar ones, too. Outside our room... More

We recently spent three nights at Keikos and it was the best B+B we stayed in during our holiday in New Zealand. The site is beautifully laid out with each cottage enjoying privacy amongst beautiful flower gardens. Te Anau is a much more convenient base than Queenstown to visit Milford Sound, Doubtful Sound and many other local attractions. You are... More

We stayed at Keiko's B&B for 3 nights. Kevin kept his eye on the local weather reports and booked us on Doubtful Sound and Milford Sound fiord cruises for best weather in each place. Both cruises were outstanding: following lots of rain there were hundreds of waterfalls cascading down the mountains into Doubtful Sound and the rain forests along the... More

What can I say - Keiko's B&B was such a lovely place to stay! Located within an easy walking distance to the town centre, Keiko's has 3 cottages on offer. We recently visited Te Anau to walk the Kepler Track. We stayed one night at the B&B before the tramp, and it was great to know we had such a... More

Was travelling over New Zealand with Milford Sound one of my visits to be 'ticked-off'. Upon arriving at Milford i found my camera shutter wasn't working, and didn't have time to travel to Te Anau and back again to catch another boat, so decided to stop overnight in Te Anau and travel back that next day. I happened across Keiko's... More
