We have a long utility/camper trailer combination, so are always impressed by genuinely easy-to-access sites. This is a good, clean, well appointed park which has been well thought out with angled sites for easy access. We were at the back of the site so less worried about highway noise, but it's certainly not a quiet location.

My parents and children and I recently stayed at the Big 4 Dubbo. Check in was ok- initially they tried to overcharge ( accidently) but was rectified quickly. Staff was efficient but not overly friendly. Cabin- we had a 2 bed room Macquarie - was very clean, well laid out, plently of space for 5 of us. The only negative... More

We stayed here one night whilst travelling back home, stayed In a studio cabin, was great and spacious - bathroom very small (I don't think you would like a bigger person or a pregnant lady trying to fit between the basin and wall to get to the shower, but it was clean and even had 2 reclyinder rocking chairs which... Overnight stop at Dubbo found us getting in late and the management were pretty helpful in getting us to our cabin. Cabin only average. A fairly large caravan park close to motorway so a bit noisy. Also not close enough to the town to walk, but most shops closed around it by 6.00pm. So you,ll need to drive into town.... More

Dubbo Parklands is a good caravan park. Amenities as expected and good pool and bouncing pillow for the kids. The location is fantastic if you are going to the zoo. Very close - you can ride to the zoo along pathways. But it's noisy. It's on the highway, so traffic noise and particularly trucks are constant. Pricing is reasonable but... More

A terrible park to stay in. We rang and booked ahead for a two night stay. The park was half empty so NO shortage of sites, however when we got there we were given a site where we stepped out of our caravan onto dusty dirt full of bull ants. Surrounding us was grass sites with a concrete slab for... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in Feb 2013 whilst visiting the zoo with the kids. We had a caravan site. Shady site, nice (small) pool to cool off on hot day, playground and jumping pillow for the kids. Only downside was some idiots in a cabin letting off fireworks at 2.30am...not the park's fault who called the police, but... More

We arrived after a long trip and got through reception fairly quickly. They were friendly and polite. We rented a cabin which was very good. It had all the comforts of home with two bedrooms, a double in one and bunks in the other. TV's in all rooms and access to wifi, DVD player and aircon. We stayed when it... More

We stayed three nights during a heatwave. Thank goodness the cabin we were in had a decent airconditioner! When we arrived the temperature was above 40 degrees celcius (not unusual for Dubbo in January) and while it did take a while for the airconditioner to cool the cabin down, it did work and we sat in front of it for... Thanks for this feedback and we understand how much more comfortable the air conditioned cabins can make your stay, especially during the recent unprecedented heat wave. We have noted your comments about the mattress and will investigate this further. We hope to see you back at BIG4 Dubbo Parklands soon More
