We stayed in Dubbo last night after traveling from Newcastle, we only wanted a Budget motel and this was more than suitable, compared to a recent stay at Rydges Bass Hill during this trip, they (Rydges) could learn a lot from the Shearing Shed Motor Inn, free Wifi, free Soap, shampoo, body wash, body lotion, and shaving cream dispensers. yes... Friendly managers. Very basic rooms. The rooms are a good size with ensuite bathroom but the amenities are budget basic . Our room 23 had queen and single beds, tiny TV,Tiny microwave and tiny fridge. The room is spacious enough to please any guests and a few simple improvements would go a long way.. There are so many motels along... More

We stayed at the Shearing Shed on the recommendation of a friend. The room was a bit dated but clean, and we found it to be very quiet. The 2 bedroom room had air conditioning although we found it a bit noisy so left it off (the night time temperature was pretty cool anyway). Both bedrooms had a tv. Very... More

My employer booked me into this motel, and admittedly I may be a bit over-critical as I usually stay in luxury motels not 'value' ones, but I cannot put up with finding hairs in the bed! Two medium and two shorter hairs found in between the old thin and yellowed looking sheets. Really ought to do the laundry and cleaning... More

We were a group of 5. My wife and I stayed in the 2nd bedroom, and the other 3 female singles slept in the main room. We stayed there twice in a 4 day trip to Condobolin. The motel itself was of a fairly high standard, although we didn't eat there. Good TV reception in both rooms, comfortable beds, and... More

This was our overnight stay travelling between Melbourne and Brisbane. Dubbo motels can tend to take advantage of this and have a reputation for being overpriced. The Shearing Shed wasn't the cheapest motel in town, but was by no means expensive at $95 for a double. The room (while basic) was clean, comfortable, and had everything you need for a... More

Stayed at this location for two nights during school holidays. Only about a 5 minute drive to the zoo and a 1 minute drive to the main street of Dubbo. McDonalds, Subway, Pizza Hut located directly across the road. Room wascomfortable beds were comfy after a long drive. Rooms were actually quite large. Only criticism of the room was that... More
