Stayed at the Powerhouse overnight for work, comfortable, great service & the restaurant was a nice way to end the day. All staff took pride in their roles & were professional & welcoming. This motel also offers serviced apartments & conference facilities.

Have stayed her on numerous occasions for work and again last week. The rooms are really nice well appointed and beds are always comfortable. The rooms are also always really clean and the staff are just always friendly and great. It's a modern hotel with the charm you would expect from a country town.

Stayed overnight on route back home to sydney and was pleasantly surprised. Much of the accomodation seemed average at best in tamworth but this was fantastic. Hotel is on a main road and the noise was loud. I woke up nearly everytime a truck went past and that was quite often. Rooms look dated with dark, old fashioned furniture and the bed was hard. If you get a chance, ask for room 233 and pay the extra money, elegance and practical. Congratulations on perfectly clean, maintained and well equipped room. We had breakfast the next morning and not only do they serve the most beautiful eggs Benedict but my fussy 4 year old even had her fair share as well. 10 out of 10

I have stayed at several motels in Tamworth. From budget, middle of the road to the best in town - The Powerhouse. Great size rooms, all very clean with comfortable beds. Location of the motel on the highway is not ideal considering the room rate but the property its surrounds are all up to par.

Had a great stay here for the weekend. Wasn't expecting such a nice place. Rooms were newly renovated, so comfortable and clean. They were really spacious too, with all the mod cons, including ipod charger, room safe & lovely bathroom products. May be more expensive than your average country motel, but totally worth it!

Powerhouse Quality Inn at Armidale is by far one of the very best Motels my wife and I have stayed in whilst visiting the new country region.
