This is the second time we have stayed at this motel. It is a 5 minute walk across a park to the City Beach reception and Dunes restaurant. We took room 209, doulbe bed and 1 single small table and two chairs. Sink, kettle, toaster and generous tea and coffee supplies, milk in the small fridge. Pretty good hanging space in... More

This motel must have been built in the fifties or sixties, and is certainly showing its age. With rooms around a central courtyard, with a few large palms and potted plants it displays a generous use of artificial grass in the courtyard, steps and on the landings. The rooms are a good size and each one we have stayed in... More

We stayed overnight here on our way to Sydney. We booked when we arrived with no prior checks however our room was large, facilities were ok, clean. Yes the furniture is very dated but it is not shabby and the bathroom as functional. It was fine for one night, if you have kids then there is plenty of room for... More

Checked in here on impulse and wish we hadn't. The female on the desk was efficient although not especially friendly. Hotel is a 1970's relic with ancient decor and furniture. Shabby fixtures and fittings that were old and worn - see my photos. The shower was hilarious -it spat furiously at me although it was warm water. The air con... More

The room was clean but very shabby. The air-con was something thing out of the dark ages and only ran hot. If other patrons were using the shower yours would run hot or cold depending on what was being used. For the price, $165.00 it was a disgrace and we were very disappointed.

Rather pricey though centrally placed for the harbour. Room rather retro but not by design just very old fashioned. Warm smelly fridge, historic a-c unit, lots of towels. Gave a pensioners discount. Acceptable if nothing else - this was late in the evening on a summer Saturday
