Clean, comfortable rooms, restaurant and service fantastic great team at the bar, always made welcome

The Coral Cay is the best motel I have stayed at in Mackay over a number of years. It is clean and comfortable and has all you need for a business trip or stopover.

Rooms are large with a decent mini bar. Decor is becoming a little dated and the couch in our room had stains on it and the curtains are looking very tired. Stayed one night, location is fine ( as on the main road into mackay) short drive into town. Rooms are spacious, bed was fine, rooms include basic mini bar and good size tv. Was fine for a stopover, no chance for a sleep in as most people leave early to go to work so reasonably noisy.

We stayed here for one night. There was a loud transformer hum outside our room which finally shut down at midnight.
