Genuine four star hotel for three star price. Modern, comfortable, clean, top breakfast. Coffee/drinks counter could be open given nice lounge area in lobby.

Really enjoyed our stay here, place has been converted from a hospital and they've done a great job of it. Checkin & out was hassle free & quick. Rooms were spotless had a great nights sleep here, couldn't believe how quiet it was you honestly would have thought we were the only people in the Hotel. Short walk to restaurants....

A nice refurb on the old Hospital. The room was clean and tidy. Service was fine (though they clearly had no idea how to cope with a 2 year old. Nice cafe across the road and an easy walk into Launceston CBD. Comfy bed.
Lovely room with a view, comfy bed and great shower. Friendly and helpful staff. My only gripe is internet cost in rooms (should be free). Would definitely stay here again and would recommend.
We stayed at Hotel Charles for three nights. The reception staff are really lovely, friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and serviced well while we were there. My criticism is that we had a kitchenette and we need to use that every day as we have special requirements with food preparation. Firstly, the fridge was full of items Hotel...

I cannot believe the quality of this hotel! We scored a room for $12 on wotif's birthday sale and all I can say is wow! We were expecting something terrible for that price but this hotel is certainly a 4 1/2 - 5 star quality. Would certainly pay full price to stay here again. Amazing big bed too! RECOMMENDED!
We spent three nights at the hotel and found it very much a corporate hotel (lots of suits every night) but we felt comfortable. The staff were friendly and the room super. Very well appointed and a lovely bathroom. The dining room is very funky and the food was good. Easy walk into the centre of Launceston which is well...

We stayed last week for 1 night. Only built a few years ago - so very nice. We were in a king room with kitchenette- had to ask for a toaster. Heating in the bathroom would have been appreciated - so too would Foxtel. Our stay was very enjoyable and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel.
Right across the road from Launceston General Hospital, this fabulous new hotel is just what you want. Only 18 months old, all the trimmings, free lobby wireless (where I'm writing this review from!) and all very modern and minimalistic if that's what you like. Awesome bed, shower, and room beautifully appointed. Only downside is no Foxtel - that is why...

Cool refurbished hospital.... however, it doesn't feel or look like a hospital at all! We had the King Studio.. the bed was extremely comfortable, the facilities in the room were great, all the cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils, pots and pans! Microwave and two burner stovetop. The bathroom was well appointed and sleek looking. We were three blocks away from...
