This a truely a great place to stay. Everything you need in one place. My only gripe was that 14 of us stayed there in March and even though the bus radioed ahead there were no porters to help with the luggage. They did apologise later. Staff always look smart and the chocloate fountain is to die for.
The Country Club is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at!!! Our hotel suite was well worth the little extra, very clean and comfortable. The staff are excellent, nothing was a problem. The breakfast was a huge variety and very nice. Our dinner in the Terrace restaurant was lovely. Will visit again soon. Highly recommend.
I stayed in the hotel while attending the Master Builders conference. The staff were great and the food excellent, but overall the place is looking a little dated and is in need of a refurb. I didnt get a chance to enjoy the facilities due to working obligations, but there were plenty of activities on offer.
While many commented on the dated layout, I felt comfort. It gives the 90's feeling which I feel is perfect given its "wood" themed wall, etc. Renovation may be appropriate for better interior lighting and the carpet colour for a fresher look but maintain the 90's feel.
The room was clean, amenities provided were sufficient.

I recently stayed at Launceston Country Club Casino on their $299 couples escape package which included deluxe room for 1 night, bottle of Tasmanian wine, 2 x full buffet breakfast and 2 x 30 min massage. This is not the 1st time I have stayed and it definitely will not be the last. The food was top class. The staff...

I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my friends. The rooms are very dated and really need a renovation. They dont have an onsite health spa. You make your appointment and they just come in when they can, which makes it hard if you want to do something spontaneously. If you don't have a car, they have nothing at the club...

On arrival, we had to swap rooms 3 times because they couldn't get the room configuration correct. 20 minutes of sitting on the floor in the corridor waiting, For a room with 2 double beds. The grounds look well kept and if you are a golfer it is probably heaven. Went for a stroll around the lake and there was...

We booked one of the 5 Star rated suites for a 5 day stay. We paid $278-00 per night which included breakfast so the package price was outstanding. The room however was far from "5 star" and is obviously self rated. I am sure that some time in the past they probably were, but the decor and facitlties no longer...

We have been to this Hotel/Casino four times over 25 years, but this will be the last. The villas are fully priced but in fact offer minimal housekeeping, don't make beds, wash dishes (no dishwasher either). The lack of housekeeping was an unpleasant surprise, as I couldn't find any mention on the webs site of this compromise in service. When...
