My husband and I stayed here on a visit to Launceston for the football. The location is excellent, very central to everything although parking can be a little awkward as there really isn't anywhere to park. The room we had was clean, warm (very important as it was -0.4 on the Sunday morning) and easy to access. The bathroom was... More

Cozy location right downtown. No Internet. Breakfast adequate, but nothing special. Good value.

This is a great place to stay in Launceston in a great location and bags of charm. A building with an interesting history and a well run establishment. I really enjoyed our stay here and the staff were helpful and accommodating. It can be overwhelming when 7 people turn up on 7 bikes and three trailers. Happily found us spots... More

Very nice place to stay, ticks almost all boxes - spotlessly clean, bathroom is very nice, bed is a bit hard for me but my partner didn’t complain, breakfast is good too. I liked breakfast room - nice and charming. Staff could be friendlier, but the real problem for me was noisy town clock with bells! They are not so... More

Good place. Nothing very special. Good room, average breakfast. Owner is kind but keeps a distance.

Because it's tucked away off the main square, it feels like a retreat, away from traffic, away from noise, away from busy-ness. The rooms are comfortable; the breakfast nook, though small, is perfectly adequate and open for conversation among guests. The hostess is delightful and friendly. A great value for such a great place!

Airlie was really cute. Little rooms full of character, comfortable beds, very small and ancient TV only added to the charm for me. Staff friendly and helpful. such a great antidote to a series of impersonal business hotels!

Touring beautiful Tasmania, stayed here three nights. We could not fault the room and the service. We understood the parking was next door. This is true only on weekends and at night time. If you do not move your car by 9am, the signs say it will be towed away. At any other time, the parking is at ordinary commercial... More

Airlie was, as most reviewers have said, pretty good for the price. Our bed was small ( double only) and there wasnt a lot of space in the room, but the lounge/breakfast area is there to relax in and it was pretty quiet on our stay. Breakfast was good with fresh coffee, tea, breads, cereals and Annette the host was... More

The room was clean and big. But, we were disappointed with the breakfast ptrovided. As we need to go for early day tour at 7am, our breakfast provided were only bread n orange juice and cereal with milk. It was not a fully complete breakfast with muffin n other varieties. The 2nd daybreakfast was worse with no bread at all!... More
