I unfortunately wasn't able to get to sleep til after midnight both nights we are there, fair enough they have bands on Fri and Sat nights, however they don't mention anything on Thurs nights too... The room was very outdated, the linen old and stained! and the FREE continental breakfast for 2 people for 2 mornings equated to 2 small... More

Came for lunch, took 45 minutes to get meal, not ideal on a 1 hour lunch break when we both were obviously dressed in uniform. There were about 8 people in so shouldnt' take that long. Braised beef had gel on it and was tasteless, no seasoning in spinach and sweet potato. Pork belly risotto was little pieces of pork... More

The hotel is the old Australian style of a few rooms above what used to be the pub, but is now a very nice restaurant and bar. Great food, friendly service. The room was spacious and very clean. Facing the street which is a fairly noisy one way street in the middle of town, but with double glazing to prevent... More

I stayed here for three nights; Thursday, Friday & Saturday And wish i had of paid a little more and stayed elsewhere. The room was small but that's ok and it did have everything that you need, however mine came with somethings I didn't need. The bedroom window frame was rotted and therefore did not close which was concerning from... More

We eat here about once a month if not more. Had the caesar salad, open steak sandwiches, pizzas and the star bar platter. Very reasonably priced, good service, quality food. Craft beers on tap good priced wine list never had a bad meal or service very consistant.

The CBD location was terrific, so close to tourist spots/tour pick up & drop off/ shopping and for the foodies you don't need to leave the building. The Star Bar has some of the... More

As the name suggests, it's a bar and a restaurant. Guess you could count it as a cafe too. The room is clean and neat but very small. With an extra bed in we couldn't even open the fridge and kept bumping into things. I was afraid the noise problems would come from the bar below but instead it came... More
