The hotel staff were disinterested and not helpful, the manager was rude and not interested in staying longer then he had to. Out room had mold and hair hanging from cobwebs in the bathroom and the beds were in poor repair. Our 'spa'/ shower had no pressure and the spa jets had 'dirty' water coming out. There hot water was... More

I have stayed here several times and find it convenient basic accommodation. Must say I'm suprised at the "BadMistake" review as I have found the owner and staff to be very friendly and helpful. Maybe I'm a sound sleeper because road noise has never been an issue either. If you are looking for clean and affordable accommodation in central Bendigo... More

The owner of this motel is extremely obnoxious and unpleasant. He is eager to ensure he has your money / credit card details in advance and is a very anti-sociable person. Noise from the main road is anoying. The water pressure is very poor and the water temperature fluctates when the person in the next room flushes the toilet. The... More

Stayed here on a Saturday night; pub next door which provided a bit of noise, which then migrated into the accommodation. Fortunately the manager intervened and all was quiet from 11pm onwards. I think due to its proximity to the main road it may be quite noisy during the week with trucks/traffic going past, but it wasn't a problem for... More

Booked via wotif.com - cost $122 for a double (hubby & self). One of the teens decided an hour before leaving (live about 4hrs away) to come. Rang Haymarket direct and they shifted us to a room with a queen bed and a single bed. Charged us $30 (reasonable price) for the extra person which we paid the next morning... More

The staff were pleasant and this motel was comfortably appointed. We paid $100 for a double. We asked for the room at the end of the building to avoid having guests on either side of us - however, only five of the 11 rooms were let so this may not have been a problem had we not so requested.

Standard, single-storey motel just outside the Bendigo CBD, unfortunately sited on a noisy truck route, and with very poor soundproofing on the doors and windows. The owners have put in a lot of effort with tasteful and recent furnishings, good mini-bar, free movie channels, and, amazingly, fairly-priced wireless internet ($10 for 24 hours, under half the typical price in Australian...
