Booked months in advance to stay in a Premier Suite during the Melbourne Grand Prix, looking forward to this 'award winning' boutique hotel. Upon arrival we were left to struggle with cases out of the cab, while 'too cool for school' on the door finished up their chat. Was looking forward to the room after seeing the pictures on the... The Prince is a very cool hotel, with a very cool vibe. Good location on Acland Street, with close walking distance to both eateries and St Kilda beach. I got a great special on wotif.com and booked 2 rooms - upon checking in however, even though it was the same deal for both rooms our friends had the Delux room... More

My first visit to this hotel, my work colleagues third and we booked on her recommendation. I can't say I was disappointed, it's a great looking hotel from the door to the well appointed comfortable rooms. The staff were efficient and friendly throughout our stay, especially the guys on the door who welcome you as you enter. The first of... More

This was our third time at The Prince. We spent one night here in transit to the Mornington Peninsula. The booking was last minute so we had to make do with a Deluxe room. They aren't as big as the more expensive rooms but are more than adequate. The hotel rate included parking, breakfast and wifi which makes it exceptional... More

The Prince is good value given breakfast is included in the room price. The low beds used to be trendy but now are a bit awkward to get in and out of. The bar forgot our cocktail order however when they came they were good. Great location and in house restaurant Circa is a nice place to eat

I love this place and I've stayed in many, many hotels on business trips over the years. it is effortlessly stylish and yet unpretentious. very helpful staff and in a great location. clean, reasonable and the restaurant serves great food. I know some people have issue with noise but this hotel is in a very popular spot with lots of... More

I've just spent 4 days in the Prince, rm 401 and wish I'd complained about the noise. I didn't realize so many had issues as well. Luckily I had a noise machine app on my phone due to babies back at home so it was just enough to drown it out. But the "machine noise " is very very loud,... More

We had flown all the way from the UK to stay here for our cousins wedding 26th November. The hotel was booked and from the hotel web site it looked and presented well. We were very excited. The reception was the usual trendy dimly lit affair with a nice bright restaurant adjacent. The bar with its glass wine cellar was... More

Our stay was ruined by the noise from the night club and street. It might have good bathroom products but then most places do. The darkness in the place makes one claustrophobic not to mention the smallness of the corridors and rooms. Breakfast is very limited and unfriendly staff especially the male waiter. The rates they charge are way over... More

From the very minute you enter The Prince, it's hard not to be impressed by the sense of style. The dim lobby, meandering hallways and minimalistic rooms could confuse an inebriated guest so make sure you remember which room you are in. Dining at circa. was excellent and well worth revisiting. However, the hotel was noisy late at night so... More
