Our second stay this year. The staff and always friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for the St Kilda beach, Lunar park, Alcorn Street eateries, Sunday market, Fitzroy Street eateries/shops and the trams into the city. It is in a quite back street opposite an imprerssive old church the streets are tree lined and wonderfull, full of a real... More

Staff were friendly, but for $235 a night, our room was on the ground floor, out back, looking over an under-building carpark, and the room was darkened by a 10ft high wall right outside,(to block out the non-Quest/private apartments looking in); this felt dark and claustrophobic. The Quest has limited views from a few apartments; but most look onto alleyways... More

Thank you for taking the time to review our property. We’re pleased you found our staff friendly. I’d like to take this opportunity to clarify a few of your other points. Nearly all of our apartments come with a balcony and one of these balconies has a brick wall that separates two buildings. This is probably the wall that this... More

Another great stay at Quest St.Kilda Bayside. 1 week in February. My wife and I were in touch by email with Jeremy Wilson who we knew from our visit 2 years ago and requested a room on the top floor with city views. We were not dissapointed. The room was wonderful, on the 3rd floor with clear views to the... More

At this hotel your stay gets off to a marvellous as you are greeted by Jeremy. As you walk through the front door. He is truly a hospitality super star… friendly, professional and an air of “nothing is a problem”. He made me and my colleague feel very at home. We also loved the hotel cat Dennis  Our 2... More

Thank you for your very kind review. Jeremy is certainly a superstar when it comes to guest relations – very bubbly and happy to help with anything. In fact, he’s recently become our ‘Guest Relations Manager’ in recognition of these qualities. We’re lucky to have such a fantastic team of staff generally. Stayed here for 4 days in February. Arrived late, fortunately before the reception shut - the staff recommended an excellent pizza delivery service which was still delivering . Rooms were quiet, clean, fairly large and well equipped, and there was no problem with the travel cot we requested. They could do with redecorating though - they felt a little bit... More

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment over a long weekend. Location is good, only a few minutes walk from St Kilda on a leafy, residential street. The staff were great, highlight of our stay from the booking through to departure. So thank you! The apartment had nice beds, a reasonable TV/DVD and well equipped kitchen. However it was so... More

After reading some of the reviews here, I was somewhat dubious about staying, but our 3 day stay was great and we found none of the problems described by other travellers. From the time we arrived, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment. The rooms were on the small side, but were clean... More

My son and I were in Australia for the Australian Open and the accommodations were exactly what we needed. The food prices were expensive for Americans like us and having the kitchen allowed us to pack our own food and freeze water bottles for the hot days. Plus, we were able to make our own breakfasts and dinners. There is... More

Stayed at the Bayside Quest with a girl friend and my two teenage daughters. The staff were so very helpful, nothing too much trouble, even supergluing a heel back on a shoe. Thanks guys. I will definately be back

We stayed with our teenage resp. adult children for two nights in January in a 2-bedroom apartment and just liked it. Within a few minutes we were in the centre of St. Kilda, at the beach or at the tram station to the city. We liked it that the two bedrooms were separated by the living area. The twin beds... More

Thank you so much for your kind review. It is much appreciated. Just a note re the outlook. You obviously required a two bedroom apartment and none of our two bedroom apartments are across the front of the building, so we are unable to satisfy any requests for church/street views if you are in a two bedroom apartment. Kind regards... More
