We stayed ten mins walk from Ackland st, the restaurant precinct of St Kilda, where to our delight a music festival was in progress. The best shower ever, a superking bed, 32" flatscreen TV, full kitchen all impressed. Drawback was the full size fridge was so loud in the night it kept me awake! Also a clothes drying rack or... We stayed at the Acland Street site which is next door to a 24 hour drive-thru McDonald's and on the first floor with a view of the Mc. Needless to say, if you aren't used to street noise then it is OK ... but we weren't !! Car doors slamming all night, delivery trucks and garbage trucks in the early... More

Booked and then read the trip advisor comments. Had I read some of the comments first I probably would not have booked and so went dreading what to find..... I was pleasantly suprised by the room! This was typical motel accomoadation; the room was a good size and clean, but do not know why they call them "service" appartments! The... More

Stayed in the studio apartment at Carlisle St. It looks very new and I guess it is as there wasn't a brochure available for this unit. I traveled with my wife and 3 year old son. We loved the place as it was very clean, spacious and well equipped. The reception was helpful, at least one of them was. I... More

Great location, reception are friendly and helpful and off street parking. But room as nothing lke the pictures on Web and in brochure they produce. Room was dirty, fixtures and fittings were grubby. Looked like they were last upgraded ,painted and cleaned in the 70's and left since then. More like a shared backpacker room than a family apartment. at... More

Stayed for four nights but should have found somewhere else after night one(I think that's why they make you pay 'upfront'!). Being on the bottom level we received noise from above as well as to the side as well as outside. Bathroom was mouldy and general cleanliness was "yuck" - the only service provided was the rubbish emptied each day... More

Can you please supply guests your guests with at least one hand towel. The "You will be charged $75 if you don't wash up the dishes" notice was rude and offhand. It was obvious that other guests thought so as well as I found unwashed cups and plates in the cupboard. YUK! Comfy double bed but sofa bed was very... More

Stayed in Easystay at Carlisle St, mainly because of the good rates and location. Overall, it was just okay. The bathroom was pretty smelly due to mildew, the room was well-worn. (We subsequently stayed at another Easystay location, and it was much better.) Decent value for money, great location, not-great facilities.

We stayed at EasyStay Carlisle St for 5 nights - after reading the reviews on this sight we weren't sure what to expect but the budget price suited us so we booked and were pleasantly surprised! Our room was near the back of the building so no noise from the street, the beds were really comfy, the shower was good,... More
