Our 2nd trip staying at the Blue Whale. Very clean, comfortable apartments. Bill on the front desk (manager) is very obliging and helpful in every respect. It is real value for money. Double bed in one room and 3 singles in the other. Looking forward to our 3rd stay. Regards Mark and Mum

Excellent service. Manager very friendly and helpful. Kids playground in complex which was really handy. We had a 2 bedroom apartment which was really roomy. More kitchen appliances would have been nice though, as it only had one little fry pan which wasn't big enough to cook something for 3 adults and 1 child. Other than that, excellent.

Stayed here once before because it was cheap, basic accommodation but the place has had a facelift and apparently new owners, so I was pleasantly surprised on my return visit. The guy at reception (Bill) went out of his way to help me.

I dont disagree with another reviewer, mouldy bathrooms, outdated furniture & average service, so its a place to try & forget rather than remember. best part was only staying 1 night

We booked for 2 nights but left after 1 night the room was dirty on the carpet edges, mould in the bathroom and the table edge wea broken with splinters poking out, the room stank of smoke as if somone had been smoking in it for a long time (this was a no-smoking room)
