Was a little disappointed in the size of the room. Not much room to put your luggage but overall clean and comfortable. Close to shops and walking distance to restaurants. Easy to find and great restaurant adjacent to the building

We have recently stayed at this B&B and to be honest it was a huge let down. In terms of the room, the bed was on wheels and on a wooden floor which meant every time you sat down on the bed you went flying across the room, then the toilet room smelt of pee which was very unpleasant. Apart... More

We stayed three nights at the Bridgefield Guest House at the beginning of our trip to Australia and New Zealand and I have to say we were very disappointed with it. We were told it was charming and quirky, but what charm it had on the outside was lost when we entered our tiny, windowless bedroom in the main house.... More

We stayed at Bridgefield in the main house, room 1 and it was cosy and clean. the decor was befitting a house of such age, but with all mod cons. Although the traffic was noisy for a short time each morning, you would expect this staying on one of the busiest highways in the south west. The restaurant was being... More

We also stayed in the merlot room, but we loved it. You get your own entrance into the house and we thought that was great. The room is near the reception but we were off doing stuff most of the day and it didn't bother us. Noise in general wasn't an issue. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed when we were... More

It is a nice building within walking distance of the town. We made the mistake of booking the Merlow room at an extra cost without first seeing it. It was not cheap at 140 dollars a night so we expected something a bit special. What we got was a dark gloomy room with a view of a brick wall out... More

Avoid this hotel. We were looking forward to our stay - expecting quirky and quaint. Lovely old building more suited to being a museum than a hotel. Our party consisted of three couples - each of the 3 rooms were cramped, not too clean, dark and the breakfast basket had to be consumed in chilly, shabby, unkempt courtyards. We paid... More

Beautiful accomodation, in walking distance to the restaurants and shops in Margaret River. Free parking & WIFI. The staff were very friendly and helpful, i.e. let us use their laundry and provided us with a clothes line for the drying. We stayed in the "cabin", which also has a nice little kitchen and a table where you can eat -... More

Lovely old Australiana decor, small cosy lounge area with a log fire, parliment chair seating was uncomfortable, friendly staff but the room was very small, tea making facilities were outside and although the brochure in the room stated a tv and dvd were supplied in each room both rooms we booked had no tv or dvd and only option was... Character-filled rooms, spacious and comfortable. Perfect location, cohort walk to all restaurants and within pick up radius for tours. Lovely shared lounge facilities including stove to add to the cosy feel. Overall great value for money.
