The room was clean spacious and motel is located next to New World so easy to go and get some hot food for dinner. There is a meeting room which is very handy and the receptionist was kind enough to turn on the heat pump. Love the dark curtains that close well.

Although we dont stay in too many motor lodges - we were really impressed with the quality of this one. The room was capable of sleeping fopur, together with a nice kitchen area and a large bathroom with a huge spa bath. Strongly reccommend this lodge. Also, dont believe what peple say about Wanganui - it is lovely!!!!

Aotea motor lodge is a very nice motel on Victoria avenue. It is a 15-20 minutes walk into the city centre. The rooms are spacious and you have a balcony. The views from the room are not special. You can have breakfast in your room, but there is a very good cafe Parnell 200 metres away.
