Barb and Steve are wonderful hosts. Bed was comfortable and room clean and tastefully decorated. The room had an onsuite (wetroom) Fast and free wireless internet was appreciated. A very good breakfast selection. The small kitchenette was great for heating meals. A wonderful view from the bedroom and deck. Loved seeing the pet cows.

Truly spectacular views and very cosy house. A definite *must stay* if you are passing through the Whangarei area.

We stayed for two nights; during our trip around North Island, our room was very comfortable with plenty of facilities on hand. Barb & Steve offer very warm hospitality and Steve’s breakfasts were delicious particularly his warm, freshly baked rolls every morning.

My partner and i have stayed here twice and i am pleased to say we will be going in back in December this year with family!! Superb views, fantastic breakfasts and plenty of local knowledge from the hosts.
