I stayed at Nikau Lodge for a few nights just recently and I truly can't fault the experience. The rooms were lovely with spectacular views and the breakfasts were delicious! Quentin and Jane were amazing hosts, and with lots of little special details and touches, I felt right at home. Would definitely recommend.

On Frommer's recommendation, we booked our stay in Kaikoura at the Nikau Lodge. This B & B is even better than the write ups! Quentin & Jane were very gracious hosts. The rooms were great, the views were superb and the breakfast was delicious!

Impressive seaview, tidy room, very good breakfast, very friendly and easy-going hosts - including Jack the Border terrier. Good location to reach the restaurants and whale watching. Absolutely nothing to complain about!

Complimentary wine or beer, good Wi-Fi, bath-robes, a comfortable bed, excellent breakfasts and friendly and informative hosts. What more could one ask for? We would recommend Nikau Lodge without hesitation.
