Was stuck in Hervey Bay because of floodings but The Woolshed made our waitingtime VERY pleasant! A very calm place to stay :0) Only thing to notice is that the hostel is small and you should book in advance.

Hostel very good ! Nice kitchen with lounge room also. Very nice area outside to relax and enjoy the sun (with BBQ). The room was very clean with TV (you can also barrow some DVD at the reception). But they don't have internet and you have to pay if you want to leave your luggage for the day...

Phoned up an hour before we were going to arrive and asked to stay, as premier bus wasn't going further than Hervey from Rainbow! The lady on the phone was so helpful an lovely. I stayed at this hostel last year whilst travelling in Australia. the rooms were lovely and homely, the facilities and surroundings are great but the manager/owner was really unhelpful and rude. This tarnished our stay somewhat, although I would still recommend this hostel as it is lovely the owner leaves something to be desired.

Woolshed is a lovely little place, run by some very attentive and keen-to-please management. The garden is paradisaical; I could have spending hours lying in the afternoon sun in the hammocks (and often ended up do so!). My stay here started badly...by booking through AGODA, they did not communicate my booking correctly, and my 2 travel companions had to find another place to stay for the first of our 4 nights.
