Over 20 years ago I stayed at the wrest point hotel. It's was of an ok standard then. When I opened the door to my room for the duration of a conference I thought I was having a flashback. Nothing had changed.

Do not book Mountain Side, stay in teh tower. I have stayed several times at Wrest Point in the different types of rooms and believe the Mountain Side ones are the best value. You don't get great views from the window and be aware there are flights of stairs to access them (ie maybe not best option for elderly or disabled), but we only paid $105 for the night.... More
