Stayed here 2 nights in summer. No air conditioning and rooms were hot. Three walls with no windows and front is patio-style door which faces walkway and bay. Can't leave it open at night as taverns near-by. Room was comfortable and clean but nothing extraordinary.

Just spent 5 nights at Commodore Lodge with our two year old and really relaxed and enjoyed sitting on the front balcony (sea view room) drinking our wine and watching world go by and the amazing sunset. Great location and Russ and Gill really helpful and friendly. Might have to visit again..

We have just spent 3 nights in Russell at the Commodore Lodge. Our booking advised no views and recent rennovations of the room (2 bedroom).
