Stayed 2 nights in the Mangapapa suite withe wife and daughter. Place was wonderful, breakfast a treat (didn't dine there). Staff were the most friendly and helpful people we have encountered. A great headquarters for exploring the Bay.

The first night we had the 6 course degustation dinner with matching wines and the food was fantastic. The break fast was also very good. It is close to havelock north a very...

A great hotel, really good service and great food. The rooms were great and the gardens were too, even bikes were provided free of charge. The local area is worth exploring as is Hastings and Havelock.

Dinner was fantastic and breakfast was tasty but not a lot of choice. Service wasnt over the top, luxury lodge style, but faultless. A beautiful setting but starting to look a bit...

I had been to this lodge several years ago to celebrate a new relationship. At that time we were awe struck by the quality of the accomodation. This time, we went with a voucher and stayed in the Hamburg suite. The room was "nice", had a little sitting area and a king bed with good quality sheets. The bathroom was...
