I stopped in for the night on a recent road trip on the Hume Highway. While the hotel is clearly quite old, it is well maintained. The room was very comfortable and clean. The bathroom is small. Hosts are very friendly and welcoming.

We stayed here on a recent trip to Wangaratta. The room we had was good size, bathroom was small. Tight car park. Good location, staff very friendly. Good if you are on a budget, no frills style motel. The Indian restaurant next door was very convenient and has the best food!

The Paragon Ryley Motor Innl is a few hundred metres south of the centre of the city, on the road to Melbourne.
