We have 8 years of very good experiences as guests at this resort. As a result of a recent visit, we shall not return. The resort had an occupancy rate of less than 10% for most of our stay. Therefore, restaurants were operating with very limited hours and staff seemed morose, a significant contrast with previous visits. The facilities remain... More

Hyatt coolum is good hotel with kids. There r lot of things to do like bicycling, swimming, walking and golfing. I stayed 2 bedrooms villa. it was spacious but toilet is not modern still ok. Sauna & Spa was awesome with nice outdoor pool. It was near beach. Worthwhile to visit at least once in sushine coast. Wouldn't regret it.

Stayed here for 6 nights on a work conference. All the conference spaces were very good, the food was spectacular we were always looking forward to the lunches! Breakfast was delicious but when it's busy they can have you waiting ages for a table which was annoying. The breakfast staff seemed to be on 'go slow' every morning. Rooms were... More

Here on a conference for 4 days and shared a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom villa...what a great way to stay...! Having just spent time in Asia, I was starting to think we just couldn't compete on customer service levels....let me assure you that there were staff members at every turn. Many conference meals are far from ordinary....this place's meals were truly outstanding....!... More

I was at Coolum for a symposium & stayed in a newly refurbished room in a great location close to all facilities. I loved the spa & am sorry I didn't get there every day to unwind. I recommend the 1 hr pedicure with a blissful lower leg & foot massage. You get to keep the nail polish so I... More

Our family had a combined wedding/40th wedding anniversary 4 night stay planned with this resort for a while, and after the recent change of management we were extremely concerned about their commitment to fulfilling this request. We were needlessly worried as everything (and I say without hesitation) was faultless. The service was 5 star all the way and from the... More

We stayed there for 1 night only and it was still managed under Hyatt Regency Coolum. The grounds are pristine and well kept. We got upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment and it was just perfect! We each had our bathroom. One had a tub, the other did not. We had a Platinum status with Hyatt so received a bottle... More

This resort is a joke. Expensive and just fails to deliver. Under new ownership and management, they clearly don't know how to compete on the international stage. The village was old tired and uninviting. Restaurants were boring and unimaginative -when will they refresh the menus? Don't bother!!

Sure. Some rooms are not yet refurbished. Maybe Clive Palmer will fix it ! Great location concept and atmosphere. Unlikely to be dupicated in this country. Loved by many despite its occasional variability.

Likes: Rooms were excellent and the service and airport transfers were great. Great location for a business conference. A nice location for a relaxing walk. Dislikes: If you're not into golf or sitting by the pool there is not a lot else to do.
