This review is for the Lodge and it's services NOT about the Park itself which is second to none for hiking and other activites. Tired is not the word. We have come here so many, many times and each time it is either the same sad run down state or dare I say getting worse. We stopped coming for Christmas... More

We've stayed at Manning Park Lodge many times and while the accomodations may be a little tired, you cant beat the location if you want a hiking, canoeing and outdoorsy resort. The staff are great and amenities are good. I understand the new owners plan on updating the lodge and freshen it up. I hope so because it is a... More

Manning Park Lodge and restaurant now closed and in receivership. Up for sale. This is a beautiful lodge, quiet, filled with wild life in area and wonderful hiking trails. Lightening Lake is still open and one can go canoeing on this beautiful scenic lake. How long it will be closed is anyone's guess but it is far too beautiful to... More

What a Winter Wonderland gem! This was our first visit to Manning Park, hoping to get out into the sticks but have a warm, cozy, quiet place to come home to after a day out in the snow. It was exactly what we hoped for! We stayed the weekend in one of the cabins which was clean, comfortable and equipped... More

We just had an incredible few days up at Manning Park Resort in those gorgeous mountains. The skiing was amazing with light powder even this late in the year- end of March! Why does Manning resort seem to be such a secret? And so cheap! It is a lovely mountain lodge, and our room was SILENT and DARK. The pool... More

We went for a weekend trip and Manning Provincial Park was a lovely discovery. Since it was a last minute booking, the price for our room was a little higher than I would have liked to pay. All the other rooms were sold out. If you can book early - it would be best. They have many reasonable rates. We... More

This is our second trip to the Resort. We stayed in one of the cabins, which are rustic but cozy. All of your basics are provided - but if you are wanting to cook something special - you might want to bring your own pots/pans, especially a frying pan. The resort has a great indoor pool and hot tubs, which... More

We went up for a 3-night mid week trip and had a fantastic time. This was only my second time skiing and I found the beginner's area at Manning to be a great place to practice. Because it wasn't too busy I didn't feel rushed and I had lots of room to work on my turns. The quality of the... More

Okay, yes. The place is a little run down. But still, we had a blast. Our room was clean and quiet. Beds were great. The staff were VERY friendly and attentive. Both the restaurant and the pub were lots of fun. Simple food well done. Suggest bringing your own wine for the restaurant as they were out of much of... More

Stayed with friends for a night over the Christmas holidays. I know the resort is in a bit of turmoil being in receivership - it's pretty obvious they aren't spending money right now. It was a pricey night for a very average room in the main buidling, a very average stay all together. One plus is that our room was... More
