My husband and I stayed for 14 days here, we found it to be very quite could not hear the cars even though it's on the main road. As for the airport being next door was no bother to us I quite enjoyed the small planes landing and taking of and by 5.00pm no planes landed. loved all the bird... More

I stayed in one of the onsuite cabins which are small but would be good for a couple. There are limited cooking facilities in the cabin but you can cook small meals ok and there is a communal bbq to use as well. The rest of the facilities are quite nice and the gardens make the place blend in to... More

My Wife and I stayed here during our trip through Queensland, Far enough from the town to still feel rural but close enough to hop on a bus and grab a few drinks or food. Staff are fantastic and very helpfull and will arrange any trips you require out to the Whitsundays or the Barrier Reef. We turned up a... More

My husband and I had 3 nights at flametree in our campervan and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The grounds of the campsite are really beautiful and well kept and the amenities are of a good standard. The female loos could use a bit of extra bleach but that's about the extent of the 'possible improvements'. The airport behind the campsite... More

With 8 powered sites booked, we had a great 9 day Xmas family get together at Flametree this year. Everything was spot on and we couldn't have wished for better. The staff were all friendly and Joe (the ring leader) was a gracious host, but I'm sure the 2 nights rain was Joe's fault! Oh... and don't plan on sleeping... More

We stayed here in the beginning of august 2012 with our campervan. We felt immediately at home thanks to the owners Wendy and Joe. Sherridan (their daughter) helped us with the booking of a tour to the Whitsundays. She put a lot of energy into finding the right trip for us. We couldn't be more happy. We got a great... More
