We recently stayed at the Club Crocodile in Airlie Beach. This was very cheap accomodation but close to what we needed. The rooms were clean & tidy but a little bit dated. The facilities of the resort were pleasent but in need of a little attention. We were looking forward to the buffet breakfast but were disappointed as it was cook to order... More

I stayed here as this was part of a rail hoiday, I never felt comfortable there at all. Firstly the reception staff were not at all welcoming when I arrived, in fact reception itself opens at 8am and mostly was closed by 6pm. Lunches are only available Sat/Sun and dinners are not served Sunday or Monday evenings. Despite my being... More

Best buffet breakfast for such a cheap price! The Bircher Muesli was simply divine. Beware of the local kookaburra though, he likes to go in for the dive when you have left the table. Keep an eye on your food, otherwise there will be none left! Overall though, I really enjoyed my stay at Club Crocodile Resort at Airlie. Word... More

We had an awesome stay at Club Croc Long Island for 5 nights. We relaxed around pool with cocktail in hand and did some beautiful nature walks. The staff were excellent and very friendly. We snorkelled and saw some beautiful sea creatures. The rooms were tidy and clean which overlooked the water with beautiful sun sets. Thank you Long Island... More

Tired-looking, full of screaming kids and not quite in Airlie Beach. We stayed here with a bunch of friends for 1 night in April 2012. The hotel is a group of building arranged around an elaborate pool and jacuzzi, with all windows overlooking the pool. Because of this, the only thing you can hear is screaming kids. Our room was... Stayed here for two nights with our three children. The pool is great, the rooms are average. We stayed here as a place to sleep only, as we were island hopping during the day. So great for a quick stop. I definitely wouldn't stay here as a week long holiday with the kids, unless we were out and about all... More

After a twelve hour journey to airlie I was looking forward to a nap in my pre booked room . Was told by reception that my room wasn't ready at check time of 2 pm and was told to return at 3pm. At 4.50pm I was finally told that my room was ready only to find that the cleaners were... More

Firstly, I do not delight in writing bad reviews....In fact I am genuinely disappointed - and for this reason I hope to save other travellers from the same fate. I have lived in the Whitsundays on and off since 2004 and it is safe to say that I have seen the town go through some highs and lows..... It is... More

As the title mentionned the hotel is not located in Airlie Beach despite what it says on the brochure. Indeed, the hotel is 35 minutes walk from the beach. Moreover it is a dangerous walk along a road with a lot of traffic. The hotel itself is quite good actually with a pool and a jaccuzi. But do not even... More

I stayed here with my partner and children in January because I got a good deal online ($78 per night) and we wanted a couple of nights away. So while Club Croc served its purpose with amusing the kids in the resort pool while we sunbathed and drank cocktails, it is by no means a great hotel to stay at... More
