I travelled from Cairns to Sydney b camper van using mostly Big4 places. This was by far the poorest . The location is by no means attractive and the cottages seemed to me like old army barracks. The hunter valley deserves a better place.

We stayed on a very busy weekend and yet the noise level was quiet and well below what we expected. We had a Merlot cottage which was a little small but had all the amenities we needed. We didn't try the onsite restaurant.

The amenities were clean and the park overall appears well looked after. The location is poor, on a fairly busy road (maybe our bad luck to be given a site by the road), with nothing of interest within walking distance.

Very friendly staff very clean facilities, would definitely recommend and certainly stay again. Ideal location to make basecamp and tour all the Cellar Doors of the Hunter Valley Wine Region. Overall great experience, Phitan.

5.30pm Friday (6th July 2012) evening my husband reported to female office person on duty(office still open) that there was pooh all over the male toilet block floor, 6.15pm office closed, toilet uncleaned. He cleaned it up!
