The location of Raffles is perfect, within walking distance to all the cafes, shops and restaurants on the Esplanade, as well as the beach. It was also an easy walk to Underwater World. And if we didn't want to eat out there was the supermarket across the road and a full kitchen.
It helps that Mooloolaba is a beautiful spot!...

Friendly reception, location near esplanade is ideal for surfing, walks, meals and shopping. Suggest auto garage opening system for exiting vehicles rather than key.

I'm sorry that you found the locality of your apartment to be unsatisfactory. My justification for advising you beforehand that the room was fine was because we had had no previous complaints about the apartment.
You do say that the apartment was "smart enough" so I assume that your negative recommendation is based solely on the apartment...

Our 2 bedroom unit was perfect for us..roomy and modern ..i was a bit disappointed with our balcony(we were on the 2nd floor)and hardly got any sunprobably due to the way we were facing and trees nearby.great location and friendly helpful managers.

We recently stayed at Raffles for 4 nights and was very impressed with the standard of the accomodation. This apartment block is located very close to the beach front without having to pay beach front prices. There are loads of fantastic restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance so if you can leave your car in the complex and walk....
