A warm welcome and rustic charm will greet you! Room had all the usual amenities plus nice plush clean towels. Having stayed in several accommodations along the Great Ocean Road which weren't up to much this place was lovely. No kettle etc in room but there was a little kitchenette which guests could use and was fully stocked.

My wife and I escaped the city for a weekend, and stayed at the Merrijig. It has a simple charm and a great position near the historic wharf. The bed was comfortable, the room clean, the food well above average and the staff efficient and friendly. What more could we ask for?
