Stayed here on a Saturday night. Room was spacious and clean. Nice and quiet BUT if you want to go into Torquay by cab - FORGET IT! The taxi service for Torquay is non-existent, even the restaurant staff are frustrated by it. Our cab was 30 minutes late and the one booked for return trip didn't show up at all....

Very quiet rooms and well laid out resort. Easy walk to the beach. Very friendly staff. Bar menu could go with a few more non-fried options. Overall a very relaxing weekend. I would go again.

We stayed in a standard King room which was well layed out, spacious, clean & modern. Staff are all friendly, warm, hospitable and really helpful. It's hard to fault anything about this resort. Stayed two nights at the Peppers in a standard double room during Easter Weekend. Given that their rates were reasonable (not inflated like some other places in Torquay), I was expecting a ”catch”. Firstly, the Sands golf course is a good one and secondly the hotel is good too - it exceeded my expectations. The hotel is a short walk away from a lovely beach. It is a short drive away from Torquay itself (which is a nice little place). The food in the hotel was good and the staff very good.

We got a Mystery Hotel from Wotif and found out that it was Peppers The Sands Torquay. The room was well appointed and very clean. The resort itself is very nice and has a golf course on site.
Peppers is about 2 mms from town and very quiet with a nice stretch of beach across the road.

We loved our stay at Peppers. Our view was amazing from our room and the staff were all very friendly and only too happy to help us.
The pool was closed early as it was a public holiday. This was the only downfall as we didn't realise!

We stayed 3 nights during Easter break and I have to say this is one of the best place I've stayed in this price range. Room are spacious, clean, service is great, good location. Would recommend it.
