Hiding in the dense bush in the heart of the wine and truffle region of Pemberton/Manjimup is Stonebarn. Luxury and nature combined to create a perfect weekend for the guests. Self catering luxury is hard to find and we all shared some amazing wine and excellent culinary skills. Nothing to fault except the time went too fast.

I've just returned from a family holiday over the Easter weekend, staying at Stonebarn. This is certainly one of the best kept secrets of WA. We truly had a magnificent time. The location is magnificent, with the lodge overlooking a lake, creating the feeling of tranquility. The accommodation was fantastic. The rooms are on the upper level of the lodge... More

A rustic, spacious and very well appointed B&B+ (I just made that up!) Stonebarn is set amongst a lovely grove and on a trout stocked lake. Wander the grounds and wet a line...the fishing is fun, a great way to catch some nice trout and enjoy releasing them. The rooms are very spacious, cozy and well appointed. Great common areas... Stone Barn had been one of those places tucked away in the back of my mind to go to because of all the media reviews I'd read over the years about its gourmet food. As we booked late afternoon, we were informed over the phone that we'd have to either bring out evening meal or go out to dine. We... More

This was our first time at Stonebarn but it will not be our last. Walter is a very gracious host and very happy to share his knowledge and history of the local area. The accommodation is fantastic, very spacious and has everything you need and the breakfasts will certainly not leave you hungry. The walks around the property are beautiful,... More

Stonebarn is just off the South West Highway, about 3km along a well formed gravel road. It is a new private hotel set in a bushland setting overlooking the property's large dam. The hotel is really like a very large home with downstairs a number of different public rooms and the bedrooms (with ensuites) upstairs. The downstairs areas all open... More

My husband and I stayed at Stonebarn for the first part of our honeymoon and it was just what we needed after hectic wedding planning. Stunning decor, beautiful setting. Not heaps to do, but that is the beauty of the place! Had delicious breakfasts, enjoyed walking around the property, mountain biking and had an amazing bush bath by candel light... More

A girlfriend and I stayed at Stonebarn for two nights recently, and loved every moment. We were looked after by the team exceptionally well, and felt like family by the time we left. The setting was amazing – as can be seen from their website, and we enjoyed wandering the grounds. Breakfast was as awesome as others had said, and... More

From arrival until now, day 2 sat at the kitchen table with my complimentary Nespresso and a cookie, has been a wonderful experience. Warm welcome, great cheese, fruit, pate, bread and crackers last night. Very good own branded sparkling wine and a BBQ tonight. The decor is fantastic, wood floors throughout, sheep skin rugs, plush dressing gowns, beverage packed fridge... More

My wife and I just returned from a few days at Stonebarn and it was one of our favorite experiences in our travel throughout the world to date.
