Outside all wooden panels and inside the same, had old style look to it but not run down looking. Food in hostel tasty, little on pricey time. Good location 2mins from beach and 10mins walk from main shopping street. Free Shuttle to and from hostel which is nice. No air con, but there is fans. One major plus to this... More

Stayed for a couple of nights in a three bed room with two friends. Room was small and had a bit of a.... strange smell. Still managed to get a good sleep. Probably down to the beer and drinks that I had chatting to the bar man. Food was actually very good too. Good location a short stroll from the... More

i stayed at halse lodge for ten days at the start of February, we were greeted as soon as we stepped off the bus and shown to a shuttle bus which was a nice touch as it was quite a walk from the bus station .the hostel itself is a fair size with a homely feel the building itself is... More

I was at the Halse Lodge for about 2 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed my time here. It's close to the shops and beach, has friendly and helpful staff and has lots of places to relax. They also have a lovely in-house restaurant which does excellent value meals.

Stayed here for two night after Christmas this year. There were 5 of us and we stayed. in the rainforest large dormitory with 16 beds as the rest of the hostel was booked up. As we arrived late on the first night we did not get to spend too much time in the hostel. However from what I could see... More

In one of the oldest buildings of Noosa, this YHA is located about 20 minutes walking from the the Noosa National Park. Nice facility's but the dining area and kitchen is a bit to small for all guests who want to cook diner around the same time.

The YHA is set in a beautiful building only a couple of mins from the beach. There's lovely verandas to sit out on, a restaurant with small bar on site and a nice area to sit and watch tv. Beds are comfy and rooms aren't too small. Downsides are lack of powerplugs in rooms. There are them in the hallway... More

I stayed here for 2 nights in October 2012 in room 1. The location of the hostel is fine, within easy walking distance of the beach and many shops and restaurants, though I was backpacking, so not really the place for splashing out. The only issue is that if you are self catering, all the cheap supermarkets are located up... More

This is a really well located hostel, about 3 mins walk from Hastings Street and the beach. Probably the best thing about the hostel is the bar - it is excellent, with a good atmosphere in the evenings, nice food and well-priced drinks; much better than anywhere we found in town. We were in a double room, which was fine... More
