We tried to last minute cancel, but were not allowed without vast payment,so turned up. Carpark full of German cars. Brusque welcome; Foyer full of 'seasonal display of false fungi, birch logs, drooping oak leaves and little animals. Large rubber trees filled central stairwell, and hung with outline apples, and kites (its the season(?)) Large open landing with pleasant furniture...
