i and a friend were in sokol for 5 nights, twice broken into, much stuff stolen, no support for staff, who refused to believe us till third breakin in another dorm. Staff unfriendly, looks like old communist hotel, would be in good location but strange un-hostel energy. Lots of stairs. (ok for us)

I stayed at the hostel for three nights. the location is brilliant and close to all amenities and tourists sites. the staff were helpful and the vending machine for drinks was a extra treat, especially considering the food prices in Europe. I would recommend the hostel anytime and perhaps return there some day. Keep the spirit of Sokol alive!!!
