I found it like the cheapest accommodation in the old city centre. It is nearby the Wenceslas square. Stuff was good, sometimes after their shift they also go with us to party. :-) A well starting point to go everywhere in the city.

It was the cheapest hostel I found in the centre of the city. And when I say centre I mean just next to Vaclavske Namesti (Venceslas Square)! Also, behind the hostel there was a street and restaurant called "V cipu" wchich makes a Pole laugh :)
The hostel was old, not very "fresh" (a really bad smell in the corridors),...

I found this hostel just 5 minutes walk from the main trainstation and I can recommend it to all travellers. The dorm rooms was cheap, the stuff was friendly and helpfull but the biggest advantage of this hostel was its central location. Lot of sightsseing during the day and lot of bars i the night just in walking distance.

I recently stayed at AZ Hostel and was really disappointed. Lonely Planet described it in their latest Central Europe guidebook as homely, but I would describe it as dowdy and cold. The double my partner and I stayed in was spartan to say the least. The room was four ugly concrete walls, a bed, table and desk. There was no...

A very nice hostel near Wenceslas Square. We stayed in a room with 6 beds. The people working there were very kind and helped us with informations. The kitchen was clean and also the bedsheets. In the room we got lockers, but you need to bring your padlock or you can buy one at the reception.
Stayed there for 5 Days over the new year eve. Had a great time. The location of this place cant be better ;) not more than 10 steps the duplex club directly located in the center of prague. The Rooms and washrooms were clean and okay! Can recommand this place to everyone who want to party in prague and needs...

You can't beat the location of this hostel - it's smack in the center of Prague. The Metro is about 4 minutes from the hostels front door.
Thought it was a great base to explore the city. The prices were a bit higher than other hostels, but you pay for location.
Our fellow travelers were fun, and we had a...

8 of us stayed here for my 21st in April.
For a lads holiday or a break with your friends it is an ideal hostel.
Located 50yards from Wenclas square and 5min walk to the old town it is an ideal location for access to the bars and clubs. The hostel is clean and generally quite quiet. The bathrooms are...

We stayed here for a few nights because hotel costs around the city were ridiculously high. Hotel AZ was definitely a cheaper option but still fairly expensive for a hostel. It is centrally located (albeit, commercial -- in a shopping mall) and close to many of the sights. We reserved a private room which cost us about $40 a night....
