- Galileo Hotel Prague

We stayed at Galileo for 3 nights in May 2012 and were very pleased with our stay. Our room was clean and relatively big in comparison to other hotel rooms we stayed in Europe before; renovated with a nice size bathroom, modern interior. Good service, free WiFi, nice English speaking staff, decent breakfast. The hotel is about 15 minutes walk...

Friendly reception. Enormous, clean room with a view. So, all the problems listed below are of minor importance:
1. No carpets. I know this is modern and hygienic, but it does mean that things make a noise. I am not a light sleeper, so the restaurant upstairs did not wake me. But I could hear chairs being moved when I...

We booked a stay in Prague with Easyjet and this was the cheapest hotel in their selection whose reviews were favourable on Trip Advisor. The flights and hotel were £150 all in so we weren't expecting great things so we were pleasantly surprised when we turned up to Hotel Galileo.
We were welcomed at the front desk and despite arriving...

We chose this hotel because our son is living nearby. It is close to transportation with 2 metro stops--IP Pavlova and Namesti Miru. Our room was large, comfortable and quiet. It was very warm when we arrived so we were thrilled that the AC was working. The staff were helpful and the buffet breakfast was good. The best thing was...

Large and beautiful hotel on a quiet street about 3 blocks from the Pavlova Metro stop. We stayed in the older section of the hotel with large rooms, high ceilings, and very clean bathroom. The staff treated us very well--we only speak English. The breakfast buffet on the terrace (5th floor) above the new section of the hotel is beatifully...

The hotel has a good location, technically it is on the outskirts of the new town but it is in the center of the nineteenth century Prague if someone likes Szvejk. Anyway, it is close to the entrance to Prague' wonderful subway. And, if you do not want to use the subway, there are a lot of restaurants and grocery...

This hotel is very well located. Only a 5 minute walk to the Subway. (Nam. Miru) From there you can take the green line for 2 stops and you are near all the attractions. Its only 24kr for 30 minutes of transit, so no point in buying a day pass unless you are really planning on taking the subway everywhere....

Stayed at this hotel from the 29th March to the 2nd of April.
Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel is a 4 star but is really more like a 3 star, the rooms were spacious enough and clean upon arrival.
The hotel is situated fairly far away from the main attractions in Prague, although it only takes about a...
