My wife, three kids and I spent four nights at the Oko. It does not deserve the name "Pensionat" and was an awful disappointment in several ways.
#1. They demanded payment in full for our four-nights stay UP FRONT, even though we had already put down a deposit equal to one night's stay. This is extremely unusual and fishy.

From the rail station, Pension can be reached by trams 13 and 71, alighting at Wlotwa, and from tram stop it is a very short walk. The Pensjonat Oko was our favorite place to stay while traveling in Poland this summer (with the exception of the family farm of our Polish Relatives). The owners cater to your every need and were very engaging. It was located only about 5 -7 minutes by secondary roads from the Wieliczka Salt Mines.
