Pod Roza is a nice hotel in the centre of Krakau. Possible one of the very few hotels still offering single bedrooms. Very nice bathroom. The hotel has a small gym, on the top floor with a ceiling to floor glass wall, not used very frequently. No queuing :)

Fantastic architecture adds lovely spice to Pod Roza Hotel. Quiet, spacious rooms set in "old style" make you feel that you indeed have traveled not only to a different country, but also in time. Entire atmosphere of the hotel and especially surrounding historical Old Town adds its own special ambiance to lodging Pod Roza.

We stayed for three nights and it was fantastic. The room was big and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was to die for - marble, walk in shower and heated floor. Stayed here for 4 days at the start of April as a solo traveller. 30 minute taxi transfer from airport to fantastic location just off the main city square. Food in both restaurants is excellent, very well priced and the 7 course tasting menu is a treat and well deserving of the Michelin mention, as is the excellent wine list.... More

Right in the middle of where it matters with old warm charm, elegance and modern decor and facilities, and good food to boot! Warm helpful staff; comfortable bed; quiet sleep. A nice place to explore from and return to.
