Flamingo hostel was ok nothing special if it was the No1 hostel it's slipped a bit. I have def been to better hosts but I've also been to worse ones!

Is one of the best hostels I know (the other one is in Warsaw). The bathroom is big, impecably clean. Beds great as well. I've been there in 2007. Great staff and they had the habid of cooking pies and other local foods for guests.

This hostel was amazing. Public areas, including bathrooms were cleaned daily and though the building was obviously older, it was kept tidy. The hostel seems to have been renovated recently and so the rooms, bathrooms, common area and hallways have been repainted and the atmosphere is very modern! I stayed in flamingo hostel in febuary 2010 this hostel really is the key. I loved this place, and Krakow. The Flamingo Hostel made my visit complete. The breakfast to the helpful people behind the desk, it was all just amazing. And to top it off, a few steps from the main Krakow square. Will strongly recommend a cheap place for anyone visiting and not really interested in privacy (hostel to hotel).

Sadly I only got to stay one night in this exceptional hostel during my stay in Poland. Very rarely do you come across a hostel that ticks ALL the boxes but the Flamingo does it effortlessly. Exceptional facilities-brand new for the most case. Excellent atmosphere and an unbeatable location. One of the best hostels I've been to.

We stayed at Flamingo on the last leg of a banger rally, and were rather impressed at the location and cleanliness! The bathrooms really were spotless, and the hostel was nice and modern. The staff were lovely even when swamped with so much luggage that they could hardly fit behind their counter! Would definitely stay again!

Left to your own devices, treat the place as your own, free coffee, clean, tidy and friendly. Wouldn't hesitate going back. Downside was the couple staying and arguing all the time but don't think that was the hostel's fault ;-)
