The hotel is clean and modern. The reason for the low star rating is twofold, the poor customer service and the fact that we got little sleep due to the noise from the trains on the track running adjacent to the hotel. We asked to get moved to another room to no avail, the receptionist attitude was appalling and he... More

My friend and I booked the Hotel Alexander II through hotels.com. We picked this one instead of Hotel Alexander I because we were taking an overnight train to Krakow, so we wanted somewhere walkable from the train station. But when we got to the hotel in early morning, the reception told us because the computer booking system COULD NOT distinguish... More

Good location near trainstation an old town. Clean rooms, free wifi, good breakfast, friendly staff, what else do you need? Earplugs? The trains are rumning in front of your room so you have to keepyour wondows closed at night. But still it‘s great place

Stayed for 3 night. Great location and very clean hotel. Very close to the railway lines and very loud when they pass. Good value for money though

I stayed here for 5 nights in April, it is a clean, noisy and well situated hotel with mediocre service. My room (a twin) was small but perfectly clean, located directly on the train tracks. The trains were noisy and the room did shake at some points when a particularly large train was passing, however I didn't find this too... More

We stayed in the hotel last Christmas, it is a quiet, clean hotel, just a stone’s throw from the Old Town and the train station. Free internet connection (ask for the connection cable) and delicious breakfasts with many Polish specialities to chose from. The staff was very nice and English spoken – a hotel I’d always recommend, you get so... More

We stayed here for 2 nights, the room was booked as part of a package through Escape2Poland. In a perfect world, the location would be quite convenient, only about 7 minute walk to the train station and about the same distance into Old Town. Unfortunately, it backs up to the train tracks and we heard and felt the vibrations of... More

The hotel is tiny by all means, its rooms, are small and reception area is smaller. My room was overlooking a wall. The hotel is clean but very basic and its proximity to the train railways makes clients awake at night. The hotel is within walking distance from center and the staff are helpful and friendly.

Stayed 5 nights here March 22-27, 2 couples. Our room 301 was very small but clean as a whistle with small shower room (think ensuite) but nice tiles and power shower constant flow/temp etc. Our friends were allocated room 423 (attic room) - it was 4 times the size. These ATTIC rooms were the best we saw so email in... More

We stayed here for 3 nights over Christmas and New Year Period. The hotel is just off a main street from the train station and is a 5 minute walk to the Rynek.
