Very good hotel in the city center. 100 meters from the central railway station. Rooms clean, modern. Affordable prices. I recommend anyone who wants to spend a nice time in the capital of Polish song, Opole, where Polish song festival is held each year.

Considering the price in value of this hotel, I gave it very high marks. We visited family in Opole and could not speak Polish. The hotel was great and the staff who spoke German and or English were very helpful. It was nice and quiet but provided excellent meals and a lovely breakfast. The rooms were spacious unlike many of the ones we have stayed in in Germany. All in all a wonderful stay.

Mercure has a good location, is situated close to the Old City and in the nearby of Main Train Station in Opole. I don't know whether there is real choice of hotels in Opole, but Mercure is considerable option. Very good location, friendly staff and breakfast definitely more than average. The rooms were OK, nothing to complain about and nothing to particularly glorify.

Clean, spacious, well appointed room with excellent bathroom. Best breakfast we had during a month's trip through Poland. Right by the railway station and about 10 minutes walk to city centre. Staff friendly and helpful, particularly in the restaurant.

The staff are pleasant and professional, but the furnishings and supplies in the rooms are of very low quality, not what you'd expect at a Mercure - one staff member admitted that guests are always complaining about this. In particular, the towels, sheets and soap were like something out of the communist era.
