Well what a great trip, we arrived at Krakow airport at around mid day feeling tired after an early morning start and feeling a bit anxious wondering if our transfer driver would be waiting for us in the arrivals hall and sure enough we spotted him straight away as he was holding a card with our name on it. With... More

I came to Foxhill Lodge last year with a friend and decided that I would like to bring my family back this year. I would say it is perfect for young familes learning to ski. My children aged 7 & 8 had never skied before and I didn't want to pay silly prices if they didn't enjoy it. The nursery... More

Zakopane a lovely town ,plenty to do for all ages. Good restaurants .lovely food with great atmosphere in all the ones we visited. Good value all round . Skiing was brilliant for beginners , good instructors. Not too good for the advanced if you are only going for the skiing, but we have skied for many years and we really... More

I've just come back from 6 night stay at Foxhill Lodge, overlapping with Tam10 below. I was there with my two sons aged 11 and 9 - all of us brand new to skiing and on a budget. Foxhill Lodge was perfect for us - right by the novice slopes, with ski hire on hand (I don't agree with the... More

Just come back from a fantastic holiday at the Foxhill lodge. We were 2 adults and 2 families with 3 children aged 9 & 12 on our 5th ski trip but with the Euro high and needing to go Feb half term we couldn't justify the Alps this year. We chose Poland on the advice of a Polish neighbour and researched... More

Our reservation was cancelled at the last minute due to 'plumbing problems'. Luckily we found another great hostel to stay at. Vic at Foxhill offered to meet us while we were in Zakapane to return the money we had paid for our 3 night stay with them, however when we called him, he told us not to visit the lodge.... More

We had an experience fairly similar to the one that the reviewer from Wales had. This is the most regimented place I have stayed in and the pressure is on for you to rent the material from the place. The rules are overwhelming and the rooms are not so well insulated: I could hear the next door guest snoring. The... More

Lovely lodge, exquisite woodwork, lovely bedrooms with ensuite shower room, friendly helpful owners make you feel welcome and at home. Nice buffet breakfast and tea and coffee available all day and evening. Beautiful part of the world. Great skiing in spite of rapidly disappearing snow - we found enough to last us the week! Good ski hire attached to lodge.... More

I visited Fox Hill Lodge back in February with my boyfriend and his family. It was the first time I'd been to Poland and I wasn't quite sure what to expect. We all had different things we wanted to do whilst we were there, some just wanted a relaxing holiday whilst I was raring to get on the slopes. The... More
