My single room was small, the carpet was worn, and the floor creaked at every step, but the linens were spotless, the covers warm, a big window let in lots of light, and the price was a bargain. The hearty buffet breakfast is good preparation for an active day outdoors. More

We stayed in Zakopane for a few days and absolutely loved it. The Villa Carlton was a lovely old guesthouse out of the main touristy hotspot. We stayed at this hotel for new year 2007 and enjoyed our stay. The room was a little warm, and there was some noise from the pipes in our room but it was an excellent price for new year and they let you stay for less than a week which is also helpful. The location was good for town and... More
