4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 May 2013 NEW

The Polonia has much in its favour; not least a central location, a sense of history and a crisp and efficient check-in. My room was awash with the dark woods and muted shades expected in Poland, so after settling in - including a lengthy and unsuccessful attempt to turn off the very loud air-con - I thought I'd just check... A party of eight stayed in the hotel from the 10 to the 13 May taking four rooms on various floors of the hotel. Everyone was pleased with the cleanliness and the high standard of the rooms, no one had any problems with noise throughout the stay. Situated opposite the shopping centre and within easy reach of the old town... More

A great hotel with a lot of history. Convenient to get around the sights and main streets. Connection to main train station is also excellent, just 500m away but do be mindful of the underground crossings, instead of above ground crossings. Good service and fluent in English as well.

High class hotel. Everythings was in the race high level. It is very simple to get there from airport by train (15-20) minutes. Pay attention that if you will use line S2 or S3 you need WARSAW SDRODMIESCIE stop (1 zone). And there don't use your GPS but just find the round underground crossing on the corner of Al. Jerzolimskie... More

I agree about with cqfp123 and TorontoMusicman in all the details people are generally saying about location and cleanliness. Additional info on internet situation: WiFi is free in the lobby, but you have to ask them for a password and use your own computer or laptop. The password is good for an hour, but you can keep asking them for... More

Spent two nights is this luxury property, Old-style elegance. Breakfast was wonderful including champagne. French scrambled eggs, cook-to-order omelet chef, fantastic confections....The best. Clean everywhere, The room was bright, warm and a good size. Bathroom was attractive, clean and comfortable. Cocktails fairly priced and they offer a two-for-one upon arrival. Happy hour is 4pm to 6pm. All the employees with... More

Stayed for 2 nights. My opinion of this hotel is mostly positive, with one major flaw (Internet access) and a few annoyances. Location: Within walking distance of the railway station and easily reachable by bus from the airport. However, from the railway or bus station the hotel is located on the other side of a very busy boulevard and there... More

This hotel, celebrating its 100th anniversary this month is rather an impressive looking hotel. However, it has many issues that prevent it from achieving the greatness it is capable off. 1.The front desk staff, although not rude, was a bit standoffish and we got the impression that they thought it was a privilege to be allowed to stay in their...
