We were delighted with our decision to stay at Hotel Triglav. We treated ourselves to a junior suite with balcony and very much enjoyed the views and the space. We stayed 4 nights and walked and walked and walked! We did have a car which allowed us to visit nearby locations. We enjoyed the restaurant very much with is flexible degustation approach. As some previous reviews have commented - the menu doesn't change a lot and when we ate for the third time the staff adjusted the offering for us to create something special and different. There are some cheaper places about 20 minutes walk away and even more in town which requires a taxi or a car. The wellness facilities were lovely and we also enjoyed a fabulous wine tasting in the cellar. Parking is limited if you have a car but staff help make the most of a very limited space. We had some laundry done it was very timely which was helpful. Housekeeping was always fabulous. We absolutely recommend this place if it is in your price bracket.

The breakfast is really good and the pool and sauna a great extra. The view is amazing. However the food doesn’t really change much from day to day and you have to have a minimum of 4 courses which is very expensive. We ate there twice and then got taxis to other restaurants. They need to offer a La carte menu too. It’s a long way to walk to other eateries if you don’t have a car with you. A shame.

FABULOUS!!! Charming hotel in a beautiful area. Views from the room were breathtaking. There was parking onsite. The restaurant is gourmet with a fabulous chef who offers an interesting menu to tempt the palate. Delicious. The pool and spa were a nice touch. I felt so relaxed and peaceful here. It was a 5 minute drive to the village.

We spent in this hotel 3 nights in the blue suite on the first floor. Hotel is located on the hill next to the Lake Bled, close to the rail station. There is a path next to the hotel leading to the lake. We travel with the dog, they have good attitude to pets. The room was quite spacious with great place to sit next to the window with beautiful view on the lake. Hotel is old but with its own charm. There are some small things that could be improved..like housekeeping is holding their trolleys, ikea bags with towels, dirty sheets, cleaning accessories and many other things on the floor in disorder next to the lift. Sometimes it was hard to get through it to get to the lift. Besides that it wasn’t good view. Also we didn’t enjoy the food in the restaurant. Two times we took room service, but we didn’t like it..maybe it wasn’t our tastes..breakfast were great, with menu to choose from. Service was great. In the restaurant you can see some wine glasses with dust on it..some spider webs.. Generally I would come back to the hotel. The charm of the old hotel, beautiful views from the room will win with some lack of maintenance.

Hotel Triglav Bled is a real hidden gem. Family-owned and part of Lake Bled history, it has stunning views across the lake. We arrived on a rainy day, but the hotel was a great place to enjoy a cosy afternoon with a drink, the pool, the artworks, and some relaxing time in the lovely rooms. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is outstanding with so many local choices prepared beautifully. There is a short path to the lake where we enjoyed a walk the next day with the sunshine. We also booked an evening meal at the restaurant, which is a real treat of quality Slovene food and wine - superb.

Lovely traditional hotel . Fantastic views of Lake Bled . Lovely choice at breakfast . Simon at reception could not have been more accommodating and helpful 5 * for him his bikes and scooters . We did the tasting menu meal one night in the restaurant 1916 really did not think it was worth the price . So hence giving this review 4 not 5 stars .

Well-appointed historic hotel above Lake Bled. Not in the town (we were not looking for nightlife), and a ways above the lake, but spectacular views. Spacious room, excellent breakfast. We were on bikes, and the hotel had a secure garage with power to charge our e-bikes.

This hotel is really well situated for Lake Bled and the surrounding area. The staff are really helpful, the breakfast is great and the rooms are lovely with great views of the lake. As well as being convenient for the lake you can use the bikes provided by the hotel to explore further and if you don’t fancy swimming in the lake the hotel has a lovely pool. Recommended

I can’t say enough about this amazing Hotel. Yes, the view and location , stunning. Perfect. Ofcourse the room: spotless, charming, so comfortable. The food: so good. The consciousness and green efforts: beyond. Allllll of these things were not even the best thing, which was the staff. Friendly, accommodating, warm, just a tremendous human-being to human-being relationship , where I basically know nothing and need everything, and they do everything in their power to help me , for all I can offer which is my gratitude, and this review. I have never stayed anywhere that took such good care of me, was so responsive and empathetic, and made me feel this welcome and at home. This is a very special place and I hope to be back.
